The request
Taking the Privilege Card digital
Belotti Ottica e Udito, a company with over 35 years of experience in optics and hearing care, needed to modernise its loyalty card system, the Privilege Card.
Although every Belotti customer already had a physical card, the company wanted to digitalise the system to simplify access to and management of points and promotions, for customers and staff alike. Physical cards were easily lost and manual handling in store was cumbersome. For staff, managing cards and points was also inefficient, creating needless complexity.
The ideal solution was to make the system fully digital, offering a smooth, simplified user experience.
The process
From the physical card to an integrated system
- 01
Needs analysis
We studied the existing physical Privilege Card system to identify the inefficiencies and weak points of the process, for both customers and staff.
- 02
User experience design
We designed a user-friendly interface for all three systems (customers, staff and administrators), with a modern design that stays true to Belotti’s identity.
- 03
App development
We developed the customer app, the staff app and the admin webapp, integrating them into a centralised system that manages everything smoothly and without friction.
The solution
Three apps, one system for the Privilege Card
We designed and developed an integrated system made up of a customer app, a staff app and an admin webapp.
Our solution digitalised the Privilege Card experience, making it easy to use, secure and convenient.
-
Customer app
Every customer has their own digital card with a QR code that staff can scan to add or redeem points. The app also lets customers check their points balance, view offers and promotions, book appointments and redeem rewards.
The app’s design is modern yet always in line with the brand’s traditional look, preserving the recognisability and reliability the Belotti brand stands for.
-
Staff app
The staff app, designed mainly for iPad, focuses on managing the digital Privilege Card. Staff can easily scan the QR code, add points, redeem rewards and browse the customer list.
Each customer is marked with an icon showing whether they have the digital card, making daily operations in store simpler and faster. Thanks to this app, card management has gone digital, avoiding confusion and improving efficiency.
-
Admin webapp
Administrators can manage the entire system, from promotions and special offers to appointment bookings and partner management.
The webapp was designed to simplify the supervision of operations and enable centralised, easy-to-use management, improving the company’s workflow and communication between the different stores.
The result
Points, rewards and bookings always at hand
Digitalising the Privilege Card has significantly improved the customer experience, simplifying the management of points and rewards and making it easier for staff to handle cards and daily operations. Being able to book appointments directly through the app has also made things more convenient for customers.
For administrators, centralised control and promotion management have made the whole process leaner and more efficient.
In short, the new digital system has simplified management, improved interaction with customers and made it easier for staff to handle loyalty cards quickly and efficiently, with everything always at hand.
Belotti’s digital transformation has been a great success, taking the company into a new era of innovation and convenience.
